Garden apartment in El Plantío

A bright and comfortable garden apartment

Marta and Ángel contacted us to renovate a beautiful garden apartment they had recently purchased in El Plantío.

The apartment already had a well-resolved layout, so there was no need to alter the distribution. Instead, our clients wanted to open up the spaces, update the materials, improve the installations and, above all, install underfloor heating throughout the entire home.

This was the main technical challenge of the project, particularly because certain existing elements had to be preserved. Most of the wardrobes, for example, were in excellent condition and matched our clients’ taste, so they were kept in place. Once the underfloor heating had been installed, we replaced the flooring with a grey tile with a wood-effect finish.

The full renovation of the bathrooms also required careful work, as the downpipes had to be modified, with the usual complications this entails. The result, however, was exactly what we were looking for. In the children’s bathroom, we combined a shower with a whirlpool bathtub, while in the en-suite bathroom we opened up the space with elegant wall-hung furniture, a wall-hung toilet and a large shower with natural light and a ceiling-mounted shower head.

We are very happy to have helped create a comfortable and pleasant home for the whole family.
