FULL RENOVATION OF A COMMERCIAL SPACE IN CHAMARTÍN

A new multifunctional headquarters

A new and multifunctional headquarters for a long-established and prestigious medical society

The Spanish Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (SEAIC) had been looking for some time for a new headquarters that would better suit its needs and day-to-day activity. After accompanying them on visits to several different spaces, they finally found this premises just a few metres from Chamartín station, marking the start of a very special project for us.

The challenge was clear: to transform an old commercial unit with a number of existing issues into a modern, functional and welcoming headquarters. The programme was arranged over two levels: at street level, a training room equipped with audiovisual systems and two bathrooms, one of them accessible; and on the basement level, the administration and meeting areas, for which an independent access was created.

Before starting the main works, it was necessary to resolve several pre-existing installation problems and fully condition the space. We then designed the new systems, paying close attention to every detail: from the integrated air-conditioning system — with no visible outdoor units on the façade — to the recessed lighting and new electrical panels.

On the exterior, three façades with black metalwork, corporate vinyl graphics and warm lighting give the premises a professional yet approachable image. The choice of neutral, hard-wearing materials brings elegance and calm to the spaces, supporting the team’s daily work.

We also took care of the furniture and equipment for the training room, using simple, practical pieces that complete the overall intervention.

It was a demanding but highly rewarding project, through which we were able to provide SEAIC with a versatile, comfortable headquarters that properly represents the important work they do.
