Bright apartment in Bellas Vistas

Open and light-filled concept

Carlos contacted Nala Studio to carry out a full renovation of an apartment he had recently bought in the Bellas Vistas neighbourhood, an area currently undergoing significant investment thanks to its excellent location in the north of Madrid and its open views towards the western side of the city.

Carlos wanted an open-plan concept that would integrate the kitchen and living room, while also including a space for remote working. To achieve this, we removed the partitions separating the entrance hall, kitchen, living room and guest toilet, creating a large, light-filled space that brings all these areas together.

The rest of the apartment, consisting of three bedrooms and one bathroom, kept its original layout. This allowed for a main bedroom, a guest room and a third room dedicated to one of Carlos’s great passions: playing the drums.

What we like most about this apartment, apart from the natural light, is the final result of the exposed concrete beams and pillars once they were uncovered and cleaned.
