APARTMENT RENOVATION IN VENTAS

Making the most of every corner

David contacted our team to renovate his bright apartment near Ventas. The main priority was to make the most of both the natural light and the available space.

In the kitchen, we designed a beautiful and functional bespoke unit to maximise storage and integrate all the appliances.

We also installed a worktop-bar that creates a subtle division between the kitchen and the living room, without compromising the sense of openness.

Our client, who is passionate about fish, wanted to install a large aquarium in the living room, so we carried out the necessary plumbing works. We also widened the entrance wardrobe and added an original asymmetrical vertical LED lighting feature. The intervention in the living room was completed with a built-in shelving unit beneath the sloped ceiling area.

In the area furthest from the entrance, we managed to create three spaces where there had previously been only two: a bedroom with an L-shaped dressing area, a transitional workspace beneath a magnificent source of natural light, and a bathroom comprising a shower, wall-hung toilet, freestanding bathtub with floor-mounted taps, a practical washbasin and a cupboard concealing the water heater in the upper section and the washing machine below.

Both the technical installations — boiler, air-conditioning unit, ventilation ducts, water supply network, and so on — and the bespoke joinery were the main challenges in this part of the project. In addition to working with our regular suppliers, we sought the advice of expert cabinetmakers, who created a practical and elegant bespoke solution, perfectly integrated into the overall design of the renovation.
